- not consuming alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana and other illegal drugs; and also not engaging in premarital sex.
A way of life developed by the punk-hardcore band named Minor Threat. The term was coined in 1980 by Ian McKaye, who wrote a song called "Straight-Edge."Those kids are straight-edge.
