Definition of Fight or Flight Response Sin-Virtue Position Compromise

Fight or Flight Response Sin-Virtue Position Compromise

noun

  • An idea that fight or flight mode aligns with compromising or uncompromising a sin-virtue position, if fight mode is active then the sin-virtue position is compromising towards the offense sin-virtue position of something else resulting in the sin-virtue position to shift towards the offense sin-virtue position, or if flight mode is active then the sin-virtue position is uncompromising towards the offense sin-virtue position of something else resulting in the sin-virtue position to shift away from the offense sin-virtue position.

This is merely an idea, an example of this would be if someone is wrathful at another and that another gets wrathful at them, that would be one in fight mode as the position shifts towards the offense sin-virtue position. If that another is originally in the purity/gluttony position, then flight mode would be shifting away into the charity/envy position. A conversation could happen like this:

Purity/Gluttony: (Takes extended time to eat)

Wrathful: "Why are you taking so long? We need to get on the subway by 3"

    Fight Mode:

Purity/Gluttony shifting towards Wrathful by putting emphasis on second-person pronoun speech: "Why are you always complaining!" (Argument escalates slightly)

    or

    Flight Mode:

Purity/Gluttony as Gluttony shifts towards Charity/Envy via third-person pronoun speech: "Don't worry there's another subway"

As a reminder, this idea is influenced by this: Charity/Envy: third-person pronoun speech Purity/Gluttony: A mix of second-person and third-person speech Diligence/Wrath: second-person pronoun speech Kindness/Greed: A mix of first-person and second-person speech Temperance/Lust: First-person pronoun speech Humility/Pride: A mix of first-person and third-person pronouns, or even all three persons of speech. Patience/Sloth: Not talking at all or second-person pronoun speech, especially vague second-person pronoun speech.

The acronym for this is FFRSVPC
