Definition of dicketry

dicketry

  • messing around and partaking in mindless activity, usually for its own sake. The mindless activity is usually something active, as opposed to sitting back and watching television. For example, driving around trying to find speed bumps to jump with your car, swimming at three in the morning, and setting of fireworks in some high-profile place would all qualify as dicketry.
